Philosophy and Sport: New Publication


Every year, the Royal Institute of Philosophy offers a lecture series in London on a particular topic. In 2012-2013, the focus was philosophy and sport. These lectures are now available, published by Cambridge University Press (here and here).

Philosophy of Sport one of 50 Best Blogs

At least, that's what someone at Zen College Life says . Perhaps I'm just being defensive, but I don't think this blog is "male-dominated". I guess one could conclude this by looking at the list of contributors, as by my count 15 out of 23 contributors are male. Regardless, if any non-male philosophers of sport are interested in contributing, and for that matter people from places outside of the U.S. and Canada, let me know.
