Leeds Metropolitan University is hosting a one day conference on 4th September 2014 in honor of the 20th anniversary of the publication of Jennifer Hargreaves’ book, ‘Sporting Females: Critical Issues in the History and Sociology of Women’s Sport’.

Philosophy of Sport one of 50 Best Blogs

At least, that's what someone at Zen College Life says . Perhaps I'm just being defensive, but I don't think this blog is "male-dominated". I guess one could conclude this by looking at the list of contributors, as by my count 15 out of 23 contributors are male. Regardless, if any non-male philosophers of sport are interested in contributing, and for that matter people from places outside of the U.S. and Canada, let me know.
