Sotheby’s is known to auction some of the best gems ever. While we have seen many stunning pieces on its worldwide sales, rarely have we come across a star that has the ability to keep us hooked forever. Recently though, the auction house made an express announcement about selling a rare pink diamond, that also touts at being the largest of its kind in the world! The ‘Raj Pink’, as it is called will be sold at the Magnificent Jewels and Noble Jewels sale in Geneva this November. Named after it’s anonymous current owner, the mother of all diamonds weighs in at a huge 37.3 carats. It is also certified as ‘fancy intense pink’ by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), that up until now has accorded the coveted status to only 0.2 percent diamonds in the world!
